Be mindful when negative thoughts arise so that you can immediately release them and replace them with good thoughts. We all need reminders from time to time to stay aligned with what we want in life. It is normal to have worrisome thoughts but it is Divine to be consciously aware of those thoughts and change them.

I recommend the use of color and gemstones as a tool for personal success. It’s easy to use the beauty of color and rocks in your décor and all things in life. Place an amethyst cluster paperweight on your desk or decoratively in your living room realigns challenging situations. The color purple is good to transform and transmute perplexing circumstances. Include black onyx book ends in your environment to deflect negative energy. Choose specific colored clothing and gemstone jewelry with intention. Every time you look at the color or fiddle with that ring or bracelet, it will bring your awareness back to focus on your goal.

Fabulosity comes in many forms. It’s not just our financial means that supports us. It is a holistic venture to feel and be remarkable. The abundance of authentic friends and family combined with the emotional and mental balance provides two more pieces of the pie. To complete the full recipe, include a connection with the Divine through your personal faith or spiritual practices. Holistic abundance is having it all – mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. We create our own wealth and success with every word, thought and action. Good fortune is the result of affluent thinking and the followed by vital action.

Be your own therapist to heal emotional stress through meditation, contemplation, and prayer. It will help you get in touch with positive ways to integrate situations and emotions into your life. Use the sound of silence to help you get to the source of what’s eating at you. Get out your journal or sit at your computer and write. Pour out your heart and become aware of your own consciousness. It helps heal your heart from relationship challenges, whether it is the loss of a friendship, lover, or relationship of any sort.

Take this action: Repeat these positive thoughts a few times a day every day and watch your life transform. Add the use of colors and stones from the chart below and enjoy the change for the better.

Walking the Medicine Wheel of Life

Throughout your life there are many transitions that are journeys that take you from one way of being to another way of being. Most often, these transitions are quite scary as you are often unconscious that change is taking place. The proverbial ground beneath your feet begins to shake and rumble and yet you don’t notice. The signs are written on the walls, in your dreams, in changing relationships – both the inner and outer landscape of your reality – and still somehow it eludes you that life is changing.

Change is inevitable. From the moment we are born to the moment we pass to the other side, our lives are in constant change. Just as the earth moves on its axis and the sun and the moon make their daily, monthly and annual cycles, our lives move through concurrent cycles and circles as we wander through the maze of life. And in each moment we have a choice of being conscious on this sacred earth walk or staying asleep as we travel through time on this spinning planet.

The sun and moon do a dance with the earth all day, every day and every year. The cycles created by the movement of these celestial beings play with the light and darkness to create contrasts to allow the rotations to teach lessons along the way. These successions bring balance to earth and all that exists on the earth.

The cycles of life also bring balance as well as lessons. The transitions provide the avenue to reinvent yourself many times throughout one lifetime. The phases of life bring deeper awareness of the self because they are often so traumatic and scary. A chapter closes with or without conscious direction.

The use of spiritual tools will provide comfort and deeper awareness. The spiritual tools like meditation, contemplation, prayerfulness, mindfulness, self-observation, the use of affirmations, journaling, working with crystals and gemstones, utilizing aromatherapy and so many more offer you a way to awaken your consciousness and be aware. Do you realize that all that you think, feel, and say broadcasts out to the universe and thereby, creates your reality?

We no longer have the luxury to say, “Why is this happening to me?” Nothing happens to you. You create it everyday and every way with every thought, word, action, and feeling. So I invite and encourage you to be very aware and choose your thoughts and beliefs carefully.

I have found that walking the Medicine Wheel can help me gain perspective and ground me as an Earth being. It helps me understand how to “be” here on this planet by understanding the cycles. Who is Gregg Braden?

OK – I will tell you a story. Circa 1995-ish, I was a sponsor of a lightworker’s conference where Gregg was one of the keynote speakers. I remember being impressed with his cutting edge wisdom, knowledge and multi-media presentation- and how he could bring the world of science and spirituality together thereby eliminating the woo-woo factor.

Speed forward . . . circa February 2011. I went to Orlando to meet my sister for a weekend visit. We all stayed at a hotel that had no/limited data coverage so my laptop didn’t pick up a signal and my smartphone was sporadically picking up signal. So data wasn’t coming into my cell phone.

The first morning there I woke up from a visionary dream where Gregg Braden came to me – in the dream – to ask me to host an event for him in Boynton Beach. I insisted that I really couldn’t and didn’t have any spare time. I said, “Gregg, I am so honored that you’ve come to me to ask me to do this. It would be a privilege but this is the year I am launching my own book, Chakra Awakening. I’ve promoted so many authors for over 2 decades and now it’s my turn to promote myself. I am so sorry. I can’t.” He then said over and over again, “You’ll see. You’ll see.”

As I awoke I thought, “How weird!” Then I proceeded to roll over and pick up my smart phone to read my emails. I thought, “I doubt there will be any emails because of the lack of data coverage.”

And there was an email from a customer (now my business partner), Odette Worrell, asking me to please partner with her to bring Gregg Braden into South Florida. She had observed other large successful events that I had created like the Mitchell Hedges Crystal Skull event. She oozed with sincerity, authenticity, and a desire to aid our spiritual community to be more educated and step closer to enlightenment. Right up my spiritual alley and my goals!

Odette and I invited Charlotte McGinnis and Lindsay Babich to partner with us to create a production company, Illuminated Star Productions.  It is our intention to bring big name authors into South Florida to serve our community in this tropical paradise.

What’s Up on Planet Earth and What Can We Do About It?

After much anticipation and excitement, 2012 is finally here! So now what? It is pretty obvious there’s something major brewing; we just don’t know what. From the Mayan Calendar ending December 21st to the Hopi Prophecies, it looks as though we are in for a great ride this year!

Gregg Braden, bestselling author, scientist and spiritual visionary, is world renowned for his insights and thoughts about what is happening and what we can expect to see. According to Braden, our world is experiencing major breakdowns in the economy and politics as well as increased severity in weather patterns. These changes are forcing us to think differently about ourselves. It appears that what our ancestors had long understood and today’s scientists are only just beginning to comprehend is that earth’s location in space is a variable factor that requires major examination.

“We are living in a rare and precious moment of change where we have the opportunity to tip the scales of healing and peace in our favor, in a way that has not happened for over 5,000 years.” It is time to take an honest look and make the changes necessary that will manifest the prophecies of our ancestors. So why the reluctance to change? There are a lot of reasons: Power, money, and ego all have a vested interest in our staying connected to the false beliefs of old.

In Gregg’s latest book, Deep Truth, he challenges the so called “truths” many of us have bought into. Like, we are being taught:

1) that evolution explains life itself and also explains human life.

2)that civilization is only about 5,000 to 5,500 years old. That civilization has happened once. That it is a linear experience from the primitive civilization from 5,500 years ago to the sophistication of the world we are seeing today.

3) that consciousness is somehow separate from our physical world.

4) that the space between things is empty. So the space between the nucleus of an atom and its first electron is the same as the space between me and the desk across the room. And, that that space is empty!

5) that nature is based on what is called “survival of the Strongest” which is often interpreted as “survival of the Fittest.” But, in Darwin’s own words, it was specifically “survival of the Strongest.”

Gregg suggests that you should now put a big X through those beliefs, because in peer-reviewed scientific journals, they are now regarded as totally false; especially in the scientific arenas, where the discoveries were first made!

So, let’s focus on the “Survival of the Strongest” belief system. Braden says emphatically that always, always, always competition leads to the destruction of the species, and, that Nature, as a matter of fact, is not based on competition. While competition does happen sometimes, Nature is actually based upon a very powerful model of cooperation called “mutual aid.” He suggests that the crises we are witnessing and their magnitude are forcing this mutual cooperation upon us in an unprecedented fashion. Whether it’s the collapse of family finances, or the collapse of peace in the Middle East, or the natural disasters created by super storms, Gregg thinks that what we’re seeing now, we will see more of, and, the magnitude of these crises will continue to increase, until we learn to work together… to survive.

Braden adds that based on geological history, this time of earth changes is projected to be intense but relatively brief. “When the earth changes subside, we will be better people … with stronger communities, stronger nations and, finally, we will have learned to work together. This will be the way for us to fulfill the prophecies and the vision of our indigenous ancestors”

The question then becomes, what can we, as individuals, possibly do? The problem is more than a leader of a single nation, it is more than a single government, and it is more than a single economic system gone bad. Those are all parts of it. But, what modern science now is showing us is that we, collectively, have the ability to tip the scales of peace and cooperation in our own favor – if we can learn “the language” of the very fields of energy that connect and sustain all life on earth and where our most cherished and spiritual traditions and the latest science seem to overlap.

It is generally acknowledged that we are influenced by the “fields” around us. This has been well documented scientifically and anecdotally. For instance, everyone knows that on a full moon, there are more emergency room visits, more traffic accidents, and more people just plain acting nutty – all because of the influence of the moon’s magnetic field on our human nervous system. We also know that we are influenced by the four seasons. When people don’t have the sunlight they need, it affects their emotions and instances of depression and suicide increase. New scientific data further suggests that we are also influenced by solar cycles, because instances of social unrest increase, when solar cycle intensity increases. Intriguing? You bet! But this is only the beginning.

The new science is telling a new story. It is now saying that field influence is a two-way conversation. We know fields affect us but check out this documented occurrence on 9/11.

On that fateful day, a group of scientists were engaged in their routine studies of the earth’s magnetic field. Like clockwork, every 30 minutes, satellites were dutifully sending back their data. As usual, it was received in a rhythmic ebb and a flow – like a big heartbeat. Suddenly, there was a giant spike in the graphs! It was then that scientists realized something of worldwide import was happening! What they believed they were seeing was the collective anguish of hundreds of millions of heart responding to the images of 9/11–frozen– in an instant in time. An emotion so powerful that it actually raised the strength of the magnetic field of the earth! And don’t we all remember…that for a few days right after 9/11…how the earth seemed without color, without pettiness, without greed. How there was a oneness that aligned us all…as family. The scientists call that a high level of coherence. We might call it Love.

When it comes to this symbiotic field, there can be no “them” and “us.” There is only “we.” And we all contribute to this field – every day – consciously or unconsciously. The question is, what must we feed the field? How do we nourish and nurture this field that connects all human hearts on this plane?

The heart has been scientifically documented to have the strongest magnetic field in the body; 5,000 times stronger magnetically than the human brain. And, it is the one organ in our body that was somehow designed to communicate with the magnetic field of the earth. Just how that works is now being examined.

Howard Martin, Vice President of The Institute of Heartmath, is also the Co-Founder of the Global Coherence Initiative, a pioneering study of coherent fields. We know that coherence is good for us as individuals and, now, we also know that collective coherence is good for families, communities, and the entire planet!

Heartmath has created the Global Coherence Initiative (GCI) for two reasons. First, to create “sensors” by teaching and sharing techniques of coherence to individuals, to families, in classrooms and business environments. Second, as a way to document the effects of many trained people actively creating coherence on the planet.

Once deployed throughout the world, these newly-trained coherence sensors will be able to tell us information about ourselves and our relationship to the earth and its magnetic field. The sensors in these projects will be dedicated solely to tipping the scales of peace and balance in our favor, and the results won’t be thanks to some weather satellite or military project!

The mission statement for the Global Coherence Initiative is “To unite millions of people from varied beliefs and cultures to shift global consciousness from instability and chaos to balance and cooperation.” The sole purpose for GCI is to create an environment in which we are empowered to marry our most cherished and ancient and heart-based spiritual traditions with the best that today’s science has to offer. And, to apply what we claim to have learned to a world that is very much in crisis.

If we were ever going to walk our talk, now is the perfect time. This is where our spiritual rubber meets the road of today’s reality. The Global Coherence Initiative is one opportunity that is already well under way but it is not complete. We are still building the system, training the sensors, and creating heartfelt coherence.

We need everyone’s help to do this.

The good news is, even though we can’t stop the coming changes, with Gregg and Howard leading the way, we can certainly gain wisdom and insight from them, for ourselves and for future generations. That is the hope we all share today.
